It would be a big change no doubt, but I think it would generally be a welcome addition to the game and I would definitely love it. I think a couple Mcree skins even have a little red dot sight too. They’ve got iron sights on their weapons and require good accuracy. Sombra, Soldier, Mcree, baby D.Va, Mercy, Lucio, Mei, Pharah too, even Reaper, Torbjorn, these heroes should definitely be able to ads, especially Soldier, Mcree, and Sombra. Since OW came out 2 years ago, I’ve been changing the aim settings and sensitivities nearly every day, trying to find the right combination of settings that will make up for Overwatch’s odd character movement and lack of aiming down sights. I have about 700 hours played of Xbox Overwatch and I’m sitting in high Diamond at the moment, but i feel handicapped and can’t seem to get maximum value out of heroes like Mcree and Soldier. I’ve never had a problem with having very precise aim on other Xbox shooters until Overwatch. I’m on Xbox and my natural inclination is to play hitscan heroes because that’s what I’m most comfortable with, but I just can’t consistently headshot mobile heroes like Doomfist or Genji. This game should have an aim down sights button for all heroes, especially the heroes using conventional weapons such as Soldier.
